Max's piece 'Erik Sleeping' appears on 'Erik Satie Et Les Nouveaux Jeunes', a double-CD tribute to the seminal French composer, as released by the French label Arbouse Recordings.

SUM debut at Royal Opera House in 2012Published 15 April 2011 by MR
Max will debut a new chamber opera, entitled 'SUM', at the Royal Opera House Linbury Studio in May 2012. The piece, which incorporates film, music and performance, will be directed by Wayne McGregor. It's based on the bestselling novel 'Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives' by American neuroscientist David Eagleman.

Max has contributed a track to this forthcoming compilation in aid of the victims of the Japanese Tsunami.
Max's piece "Bach Mirror" closes the two CD release, which features tracks from a wide range of electronic, ambient, and instrumental artists including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Biosphere, Peter Broderick, Robin Guthrie & Harold Budd and many others.
