Rekindling Venus Trailer Launched

Lynette Walworth has released a trailer for her upcoming project Rekindling Venus, for which Max has contributed music. On 5th June 2012, Wallworth’s immersive full-dome feature film will be premiered at the Royal Observatory at Greenwich and around the world to coincide with the Transit of Venus. The piece is part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

Lore score completed

Max has completed the score to Cate Shortland’s upcoming feature film, Lore. The score features Everton Neslon and Ian Burdge as string soloists and Max on piano. It was recorded in Lyndhurst Hall at George Martin's AIR studios in London and mixed at Max's Studiokino in Berlin.

Based on Rachel Seiffert’s Booker-nominated novel ‘The Dark Room’, Lore is set in the spring of 1945 as the German front collapses and the Allied forces take control. The film stars Saskia-Sophie Rosendahl and Ursina Lardi (The White Ribbon).

Infra U.S premiere

The Joffrey Ballet in Chicago is currently staging the U.S premiere of Infra, the ballet scored by Max and choreographed by Wayne McGregor.
